Default Temporary substitution for Hand-feeding formula?

As of today, I have a little problem with my cockatiel. S/he is not yet fully weaned (still eats formula at morning and night), but we will run out of this formula in more or less a week. We have already ordered more, but it will take one, two weeks tops to get it (the bad timings were because nobody expected a 2 weeks wait for some hand feeding formula...). My question is: What can i substitute formula with, while we wait?

The cockatiel will eat apples, bananas [...] most fruits and some green veggies (not a big fan of those), and my father and I tought that maybe cornmeal (Polenta in Italy) could do, for just a few days?

We could also ground some seeds (like sunflower) with this cornmeal, or give him other foods?

If nothing can be substituted, then no worries for the little one, we CAN go and take one from a breeder, just it's 3h away and we can't really do the trip comfortably. We will though, if needed.

Thank you for your help

You can blend dry oatmeal until it turns into powder, then use that as formula.

Human Baby formula/cereal can do in a pinch, as can bird breeding pellets/weaning food blended in a blender then soaked in hot water.

Good luck to you!
