Default Your current birds

Dang I never make threads like I used to. Maybe that's a good thing... my old threads were godawful. I just kind of want to make an update thread of sorts. This should be fun for the older members especially, to see what has changed over the years. I started on this forum back in 2012 with 1 WF tiel. I had budgies and a lovebird inbetween that time, but I now currently own Jaid, 2 budgies and a blue crown conure. I'm honestly a bit curious to see what everybody's into these days

Halllloooo thar Oh lord...I'm not even sure when I joined Talk Cockatiels. That was back when Alpha was still alive, the 24-25 year old cockatiel I rescued when he was 15. Since then I've rescued several birds, have since lost several prematurely due to unknown causes, and have gotten back into cockatiel breeding after a 3-4 year hiatus . Life has been pretty busy for me bird-wise

I currently have my breeding pair of cockatiels, Sideswipe and Firestorm; my retired breeding pair, Mindwipe and Redshift; the lone cockatiel StrongArm; my budgies Slugfest and Swoop; plus August, my White Capped Pionus. I'm pretty excited about the end of tomorrow (err...today at this point), as Slugfest and Swoop come out of Quarantine. I'm going to take a gander at breeding my budgies. It's a first for me and the little misfits

A small baby chick I (kind of) rescued from this man who had crammed it into a cage with several other chicks.

It's funny to see how most of us got bigger birds over the years
