Default Elvis is leaving

So, due to things I don't want to talk about, I'm fostering out Elvis (and all my other birds) to a friend of mine for a couple months. I'll see him and my budgie pair again in mid June since I had volunteered to watch her flock for a week while she was out of the state. I plan on getting them back sometime in the fall (I'm getting a job, I'll have my license and a car) but I'm not sure, I might wait a little longer. She said that she'll watch them for up to a year, so I guess I'll wait a full year before bringing them back. Elvis is leaving soon (I don't know when) with my budgies. Although I have wait because of an illness going around my friends flock, and despite vet care, it seems another one is sick every time she goes out to the aviary.

I think my birds would enjoy a year in an aviary while I have some time to deal with things at home.

**Hugs** It's always tough having to give up one's babies, even for a short period of time. Wish'n you the best of luck with your friend and with your family

Sending you hugs, too. Although it will be hard, you know they are in good hands and are where you can visit.

Taking care of you is important, and will enable you to take care of them when they return.
