Delete if this is on another thread.
I'm getting a new lil fella end of this week,I've had a budgie many years ago as a teen and now find myself readying for my new guy.

My question is that once he has been here for a few days and gets used to our house,as it's open plan I'm trying to plan how to screen off a couple of rooms so he doesn't get too stressed etc.

Also how do I train him to not go near windows as such try to fly through them?

Our window coverings are roman blinds which once its day they pulled right up.

Any tips or advice would be appreciated, I'm thinking with the windows have the blinds down and gradually pull them up until he is used to the room space and what is actually window. If you get what I mean

Thanks in advance

I don't know if you can train them to stay away from Windows.

My birds always avoided Windows and ceiling fans, but not walls and doors, so I can't help much here.
