So, Enzo has recently become a fan of taking daily showers with me and he likes to stand under this single weaker stream of water from the shower head (I think he thinks it's a massage).
However, today he climbed the wrong direction on my arm and stood under the regular stream that I typically shower in. I quickly pulled him away, but now he likes the stronger beams compared to the weaker ones.

Also, when getting out of the shower I noticed that he had a small red spot where you could see the skin and no wet feathers. When you push the center feathers, there also seems to be a smaller spot on the opposite side, closer towards the center.

Is it possible that the water was too hot? (He didn't move when introduced to the temp, and I had to remove him from the shower or he'd stay forever) Was that full stream too strong and could it have knocked feathers? (The full stream didn't move his body whatsoever). Or is daily too often and it's hurting the feathers?

EDIT: After a little bit, it seems more feathers have lied down over the spot, but it's still slightly visible, so is that bad?

That looks like his "elbow" joint. I doubt that the water burned him because he would try to escape if he was in any pain. It's possible that the skin is just flushed from the warmth of the shower. If it stays red, it's possible that it's a little bit sore because he bumped it on something. Or maybe it just looks redder because it's easier to see.

Oh! That being flushed after taking the shower makes sense!

Thank you~
