Default Lutino Male with Albino Female Result

I was wondering what will be result of Lutino make with an Albino Female ? I have bought two Albino hens. One I will pair up with Lutino and other with my normal grey.

What will be result in both cases.

Girls are just weaned so its a long shot I have now embarked on journey to get young birds and raise them

An "albino" has two mutations - whiteface and lutino. Lutino removes the grey color and whiteface removes the yellow and orange, and the result is a white bird.

So with this pair, you would be breeding two lutinos together, which is not really desirable. All the chicks will be visual lutino, and if the male is split to whiteface then about half the babies will be whiteface lutino, aka albino. If he is not split to whiteface then all of them will be yellow lutino.

There's also a less likely mutation possible, which is a "clear" pied. A Lutino/WF should have a red or plum tinge to the eye, where a "clear" pied bird would have dark eyes.

If you pair a WF/Lutino hen to a normal cock, you'll get normal babies with females split to WF and males split to WF and Lutino. WF/Lutino's can have other splits, too....pied, pearled, what have you.

Those are pretty birds. I have one WF/Lutino in my flock, and she is so stunning when she flies.

The girls in the picture had red eyes, so it's pretty safe to assume that they're whiteface lutino. Older lutinos usually have darker eyes than babies, and may be mistaken for a clear pied.

It's not the strength of the bloodline really, it's just a question of what mutations and splits the parents have. If Dad has the genes for whiteface and lutino and mom has the gene for whiteface, you can get whiteface lutino girls. But you can't get WFL boys unless mom is visual lutino in addition to all the other requirements.

Buster in my signature is normal grey split to whiteface and lutino, and his mate Shodu is whiteface grey. They've given me several whiteface lutino girls, and several yellow lutinos too. Snowy and Teela (also in my signature) are their daughters.
