It's not recommended to move the nest, as this could result in the parents abandoning the babies. What is the issue with the cage?

It will depend on the personality of the pair and also on how safe they feel in the new location. It's often possible to move breeders without any problems.

You can try to change their cage. But be prepared if they reject all the babies. You will need a brooder, and experienced handfeeder, and depending on the age, you will need to give up your sleep too.

Unless the cage is physically broken and causes a threat to their safety, you should just leave them be until the chicks are fledged and weaned. About 8-10 weeks old for cockatiels.
