Default Thanks for your advice guys!

Hello people. I just wanted to say thanks for previous advice I've gotten from here and show you how my bubs have done with the help.

Unfortunately I lost the pairs clutch after they laid again before the other chicks were ready. (I think it was bacteria as the yolks seemed to have a stripey greenish tint to them ?) But I'm glad I ended up rearing the first two chicks as I've really enjoyed hand rearing them and hope to do so again in the future!

Here's some pics of them nearly ready for their new homes

Congrats on your birds and your cute spider-boy too ! Yes,greenish yolk means-bacteria (from poop). in my experience-early laid double clutch is doomed-you can either foster the eggs or pull the chicks , clean the nestbox and allow parents to focus on new clutch..

Thanks guys ^^ I'm really pleased with how they've turned out considering they're my first hand reared chicks. It's definitely been a learning journey! Spider boy has been really fond of them and doesn't want them to go.

Is there a safe way to clean the eggs to give them a better chance? I cleaned out the nest box but was afraid of damaging the outer layer by cleaning the eggs
