Default Gonna try her on beans later

I posted previously about our girly-bird Maggie and what she eats. Well, today I'm gonna cook her some beans.

It's 13 Beans Soup Mix from the organic grocery store, with some barley cooked in it. I'm making a huge amount of these 13 beans, half of them for the birds (cooked soft-dry) and half for my partner and me (made into soup with some chicken and broth and carrots and potatoes and mushrooms).

Now, how should I go about convincing Maggie to eat the 13 beans? I'll try just serving some up alongside her precooked quinoa and grain mix first and see if she goes for it (she does love her bean sprouts, you see). If she doesn't, what can I try next?

Also -- can birds get gas from eating beans? Is it any danger to them?
