Default Birdie presents?

Did you get your "fids" any special Christmas presents? I got Bennie a little Christmas tree from Drs Foster and Smith. I got him one last year and he really liked it. It is hollow and you can stuff treats inside. Then the bird can shred the tree. This picture is actually from last year; I didn't take on of him with it this year. It's already pretty well shredded.

I gave Puck a pinecone, but he hasn't shown any interest in it yet. Although it might help that I gave it today, after I completely cleaned and changed his cage and that always involves him giving half of his (moved around) stuff the stinkeye for a few days before deciding it is actually fun.
We'll see if he starts showing any interest in tearing it apart in the next couple days. If not, I will play with it during out of cage time. Worked with bells, so I don't see why it should fail with shredding a pine cone

I got a whole bunch of pine cones, and am trying to come up with ways for using them for birdy crafts. I know you can roll them in birdie peanutbutter or a flour-and-water-mix so seeds stick to it, but so far I haven't found anything similar for budgies.
Tips are welcome!

That's a cute little tree for you tiel. I give my birds extra millet, and lots of cardboard and yarn scraps. They love to shred the cardboard and yarn. My Christmas "present", cleaning up the mess they make afterward.

That toy is super cute!

I got my guys a huge bag of millet, a new mineral block and a massive colourful wooden ladder that I managed to secure sideways inside their cage so that they can walk across it like a swing bridge!
