Default My chick died

I have had my chick for five months now, and recently it had gotten sick. I woke up yesterday morning to give it food and water, only to find it lying dead.

I was heartbroken, and I cried the whole day, and I cried today too. I just can't bear the fact it died so young. Five months may seem like a lot for it to grow up, but it was still just a baby.

I buried the chick in my garden, and planted flowers on top of its grave.
Rest in peace, my little bird. You will always be in my heart.

I'm sorry. I don't think there was anything you really could have done. The chick was already in pretty bad shape when you got it. But to me it sounds like you helped more than anything. The baby spent its last months with you keeping it well fed and cared for instead of crammed in a cage

O man I'm so sorry honey. Birds are really good at hiding that they're sick until it's too late to treat them. At least you got that time with your baby.

Nimra, so sorry for your loss. You gave the little guy your best, even in a short life.
